Can you take down a tall pine on a small lot without damaging the house?
Yes. When there is no room to drop a tree in one piece, it is climbed or reached with a bucket and taken down in sections that are lowered on ropes. The tree comes down in pieces sized to the space around it.
The pine in my yard turned brown after a storm. Is it dead?
Very likely. A pine that browns out over a few weeks is usually dying, often from bark beetles that move into trees stressed by wind, lightning, or root damage. Dead pines get brittle and are more dangerous to remove the longer they stand, so it is worth a look soon.
Do you grind the stump when you remove the tree?
Stump grinding is a separate line on the quote, so you can decide. Most people in a subdivision want the stump gone so they can sod or plant over the spot. We can grind it the same visit or come back for it.
